- international
Period
2 weeks, from Monday 27 January to Friday 7 February 2025, with students present in Trento, PLUS a compulsory 2-hour follow-up online workshop on 17 February 2025, in two time slots: either 9:00 AM or 3:00 PM (both CET).
Venue
Faculty of Law, Via Rosmini 27, Trento
Contents
Taught completely in English, the SustANGE Winter School is organized jointly with the UniTrento Faculty of Law and the Erasmus School of Law at the University of Rotterdam. The international appeal lies in the Winter School's global relevance, the interconnected nature of sustainable development, climate change and resource access, the cross-sectoral impact of these challenges, as well as the need for multidimensional, interdisciplinary and collaborative solutions, including law, policy, economics with philosophical approaches and perspectives.
Given the theme, the involvement of Museo delle Scienze (MUSE), which is an interactive science museum located in Trento, is an ideal opportunity to showcase Trentino’s excellence in integrated research systems.
During their visit to MUSE, participants will receive an overview of the issues related to climate change in the alpine region.
Lectures will be delivered by Faculty members from both Trento and Rotterdam, to ensure an interdisciplinary programme, with a multiplicity of theoretical and methodological approaches.
There will also be integrated discussion spaces in working groups during which participants can develop competencies and soft-skills.
