
Good practices for accessing the University Research Ethics Committee and managing protocols

The workshop aims to provide participants with essential information on the procedures required to obtain the opinion of the University Research Ethics Committee (CER). It will also cover the use of the Ethics Self-Assessment tool, explaining its purpose and benefits in terms of time efficiency and process streamlining, as well as the use of the Service Desk and related tools.
The theoretical session will be complemented by an in-depth analysis of practical examples, focusing on the main issues that arise when developing research protocols to be submitted to the Committee, based on the experience and support provided by the CER technical secretariat, thus offering participants concrete guidance for effectively preparing and managing their submissions.
