Marco Sabatini, Professor of the Department of Mathematics, will describe and lead the practice of the single-player game Nonograms and the competitive two-player game Lines of Action (LoA). Nonograms has been depicted as an elementary essay in discrete tomography. With the aid of suitable apps, both planar and tridimensional examples will be explored. Both games are accessible only to players able to count: LoA requires counting up to 7, Nonograms up to 20 (maybe).
