Git fundamentals for software development

The seminar introduces the fundamentals of Git and GitHub, widely used tools in software development for version control and collaborative work.

The main features for managing code changes, tracking file history, and collaborating on the same project will be presented.

The course will be held in both English and Italian.

Credits

To obtain 1 ECTS/CFU Type F credit (Other Activities), students are required to attend and pass the final assessment for 2 seminars.

Students who attended previous editions of the seminar series will receive credits only for seminars different from those previously attended.

Attendance at 4 seminars and successful completion of the related final assessments may allow students to obtain 2 ECTS/CFU credit.
