Introduction to Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and SimaPro
The seminar introduces the theoretical foundations of LCA - Life Cycle Assessment, an analytical and systematic methodology used to evaluate the environmental impact of a product or service throughout its entire life cycle, as well as its potential commercial applications.
The results of some case studies carried out on industrial products will be presented, and one of them will be developed step by step using the Simapro software.
The course will be held entirely in Italian.

Credits
To obtain 1 ECTS/CFU Type F credit (Other Activities), students are required to attend and pass the final assessment for 2 seminars.
Students who attended previous editions of the seminar series will receive credits only for seminars different from those previously attended.
Attendance at 4 seminars and successful completion of the related final assessments may allow students to obtain 2 ECTS/CFU credit.
