"Guidelines of the University of Trento for Research Integrity” e “Research Integrity and Ethics Workshops" 2026
The Research Ethics and Integrity Office and the INTEGRA Research Group of the University of Trento are promoting this series of meetings with the aim of trying to provide skills and awareness to foster a culture of ethics and integrity across all levels of the academic community.

The event is dedicated to the presentation of the "Guidelines of the University of Trento for Research Integrity", adopted by the University within the framework of the 2022-2027 Strategic Plan in response to the growing national and international relevance of Research Integrity issues. It will also cover new policies regarding Child Protection in research projects involving direct interaction with minors, as well as Financial Conflict of Interest (FCOI) and Research Misconduct for specific research activities funded by agencies under the U.S. Public Health Service (PHS).
The event will be also dedicated to presenting the online training programme on Research Integrity and Ethics developed by the Research Ethics and Integrity Office and the INTEGRA Strategic Research Project. The programme aims to provide a foundational understanding of the principles of Research Integrity through theoretical content, learning materials based on national, European and international sources, practical examples and interviews with experts in the field. The session will also introduce access procedures to the Research Ethics Committee and the available self-assessment tools.
