Ahead of the 2026 edition of CIBIO Incontra, researchers Stefano Caserta and Alessandra Bisio are stepping out of the labs to bring microbiology straight to the city's tables.
An informal and highly interactive scientific aperitivo designed to bridge the gap between the public and the big (and small) secrets of bacteria, viruses, and genetics—with no formal lectures involved.
The evening will unfold like a real scientific game: a warm-up session to break the ice, followed by three micro-talks interspersed with live audience voting. A Q&A session will follow, with researchers moving from table to table to answer questions directly, and a final toast.
