The "Multifunctional and Smart Coatings for Corrosion Protection" summer schools are organized by the European Federation of Corrosion (EFC) Working Parties 14 (Coatings) and 22 (Corrosion Control in Aerospace). 

These programs aim to provide PhD students and early post-doctoral researchers with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in advanced corrosion protection methods. Following the successful editions at the University of Aveiro (Portugal) in 2023 and the University of Mons (Belgium) in 2024, the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Trento (Italy) is honored to host the 2025 edition of the summer school. 

These summer schools serve as valuable platforms for emerging researchers to engage with leading experts, gain hands-on experience, and stay abreast of the latest developments in multifunctional and smart coatings for corrosion protection.
