The role of asking complex questions in creative thinking
Abstract
This work examines how the formulation of complex, cognitively demanding questions contributes to the enhancement of creative thinking processes. Drawing on recent research by Prof. Yoed Nissan Kenett, it highlights the role of semantic network structure and flexible associative thinking in enabling individuals to generate novel and original ideas. The study suggests that engaging with intricate questions stimulates deeper exploration of conceptual spaces, thereby fostering higher levels of creativity. These findings provide important implications for educational and cognitive training practices aimed at cultivating creative potential.
