Speaker: Tarrin Jon Wills (University of Copenaghen)
Tarrin Jon Wills is a professor of Viking and Medieval Scandinavian language, literature, and history at the University of Copenhagen. He has worked for years on digital editions and textual databases, particularly the Old Norse Poetic Dictionary (Lexicon Poeticum), the poetry project Skaldic project, and, currently, the ONP Dictionary of Old Norse Prose (https://onp.ku.dk/onp/onp.php). His extensive experience in linguistics, literature, and historiography makes his expertise particularly valuable for exploring the limits and potential of digital editions and data modeling.
The meeting will be held in English.
