The third edition of CIBIO Incontra, the event that brings research and the local community together and opens the Department’s doors to those who support us, those who collaborate with us, and those who are simply curious to find out what goes on in our laboratories.
The 2026 edition, ‘Infinitely Small: VIRUSES and BACTERIA’, takes us on a journey of discovery into the invisible world that lives around and within us. Through three research themes, we will explore bacterial transmission, microbiota and microbial communities, ancient viruses and traces of the past.
It will be an opportunity to meet CIBIO researchers, gain an insight into their research questions and discoveries, and discuss the challenges of research. The event will be rounded off with tours of the Department’s laboratories and opportunities for dialogue with the local community.
