General course objectives

develop skills and competences to communicate easily and engagingly to an audience and with an audience, during university, in job interviews and in professional life.

Skills that will be acquired

management of stage presence, use of words, voice and body, management of "performance anxiety", interaction with the audience, adaptability and improvisation, live analysis of feedback. These skills will provide a solid foundation for excelling in Public Speaking, allowing those who participate in the course to begin communicating persuasively and influentially in different professional and personal situations.

• Analysis of the audience, objectives, timing, location and equipment available;
• Choice of communication style and support material (e.g. projection of slides);
• The use of words, voice and body;
• Oratory art and storytelling;
• The management of "performance anxiety" and unexpected events;
