Abstract:

This seminar provides an overview of electronic systems and components used in space missions. Students will learn how electronic systems are designed, tested, and implemented for various space applications, including satellites, spacecraft, and scientific instruments.
Emphasizing the unique challenges posed by the space environment, this course will cover the fundamentals of electronics, reliability engineering, radiation effects, and the development processes specific to space technologies. We will focus on design and qualification for radiation tolerance.
