Dario Neri is a prominent chemist and biotechnology leader serving as CEO and CSO of the Swiss-Italian biotech company Philogen, while retaining his title as full professor of Biomacromolecules at ETH Zürich.
Educated at the Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa, he completed his PhD and post-doctoral research under Nobel laureates Kurt Wüthrich and Sir Gregory Winter. His cutting-edge research focuses on engineering therapeutic cancer antibodies and developing DNA-encoded chemical libraries, successfully advancing two antibody products into Phase III clinical trials.
An internationally recognized authority with over 500 peer-reviewed publications, his contributions have earned him numerous prestigious honors, including an ERC Advanced Grant and the Pratesi Medal of the Italian Chemical Society.
