Final exams - 38th Cycle (2022-2023 a.y.)

Dissertations are defended publicly. Final Examinations are individual and specific to the candidate and are conducted in English. 
In their final examination, candidates are expected to successfully defend their thesis, which must have been reviewed by two external referees of high scientific standing appointed by the Academic Board. 

The Final Examination entails a public defence of the thesis before a committee appointed by the Rector. This examination must occur within six months of completing the PhD program, subject to extensions. Following the defence, the thesis is either approved or rejected based on a collective written judgment. In the event of a negative outcome, the Final Examination cannot be retaken.
