The lab studies functional SNPs and SNVs that affect allele-specific translation and impact p53-related cancer genes. The latest results obtained with rs1053639 (T/A) in DNA damage-inducible transcript 4 (DDIT4) and rs1554710467 in eIF4H will be presented.
