IdroGrafie
- third mission
The exhibition IdroGrafie. Cartografia storica delle valli di Peio e Rabbi, organised and curated by the Department of Humanities of the University of Trento and the Autonomous Province of Trento (Stelvio National Park), invites visitors to interpret the territory of the Peio and Rabbi valleys through the lens of water. The exhibition brings together both well-known and previously unpublished cartographic materials from local and international archives – topographic maps, technical surveys, sketches and thematic representations – which collectively portray the hydrological landscape of the two valleys. From the courses of streams to hydraulic works, from glacial extents to hazard maps, from thermal springs to water-powered workshops, water becomes the key to understanding how local communities have shaped and inhabited their environment over the centuries.
The exhibition will open on Tuesday, 16 December at 5 p.m. at Palazzo Migazzi, P.zza Cardinal Migazzi 5, Cogolo di Peio (TN). It offers an opportunity to explore, through cartography, new historical and geographical perspectives on the Peio and Rabbi valleys
In the foot of this webpage it will be possible, from December 16, to download the English translation of the exhibition
