Introduction to LaTeX

This seminar offers an introduction to LaTeX, a typesetting system widely used in academic, scientific, and technical writing.

Participants will learn the basics of document structure and formatting, as well as how to create mathematical equations, tables, figures, and bibliographies. The seminar is designed for students who want to improve the quality and professionalism of their academic documents.

Giulia d'Addato, PhD student at the Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of Trento and part of the National Doctoral Programme in Autonomous Systems (DAuSy), coordinated by Politecnico di Bari.

Credits

To obtain 1 ECTS/CFU Type F credit (Other Activities), students are required to attend and pass the final assessment for 2 seminars.

Students who attended previous editions of the seminar series will receive credits only for seminars different from those previously attended.

Attendance at 4 seminars and successful completion of the related final assessments may allow students to obtain 2 ECTS/CFU credit.
