Speaker: Adeline Johns-Putra (Queen’s University, Kingston, Canada)

Adeline Johns-Putra is Professor of English Literature at Queen's University in Canada. She is also an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the University of Liverpool, an Honorary Professor at the University of Hong Kong, and a Visiting Professor at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in China. From 2011 to 2015, she was President of the Association for the Study of Literature and Environment (UK and Ireland). Her authored books include Climate Change and the Contemporary Novel (2019) and The History of the Epic (2006). Her edited books include The Cambridge Companion to Literature and Climate (2022), Climate and Literature (2019), Cli-Fi: A Companion (2018), and Literature and Sustainability (2015).
