The Department of Industrial Engineering presents a series of thematic seminars dedicated to "Architectures of Intelligent Transportation Systems".

From May 6th to May 22nd, leading experts will share their knowledge on string stability, advanced simulation, V2X communication, and the state of the art of autonomous vehicles.

This seminar, "Automated Vehicles State of Play & Future Outlook," addresses key questions surrounding the deployment of self-driving technology. We will explore the critical challenge of ensuring the safety of Automated Vehicles through rigorous testing and validation. 

The session will also assess the current progress and estimate the timeline for mass-market adoption. We will examine the near-future solutions and strategies anticipated for introducing automated vehicles to the market. 

Finally, we will discuss how research findings can effectively inform policy-making to create robust and beneficial regulations for the autonomous mobility sector. This session aims to provide insights into the current state and future trajectory of automated vehicles.
