The “Borzaga Lectures” series was established in honor and memory of Professor Carlo Borzaga, one of the international pioneers in the study of social enterprise and the social economy, a highly regarded professor of Economic Policy at the University of Trento, dean of the Faculty of Economics from 2003 to 2006, director of ISSAN (Institute for the Study of the Development of Nonprofit Enterprises) from 1997 to 2009, and founder of EURICSE.
