Speaker: Dr. Valeria Pettorino, ESA Project Scientist for the Euclid Mission
Abstract:
I will give an overview of the ESA Euclid Mission, its scientific objectives for cosmology and the study of dark energy and Large Scale Structure; I will recall the main milestones so far, its challenges, and highlight the first results from the Early Release Observations to the First Quick Data Release. Finally, I will recall future steps. I will also mention ESA programmes dedicated to postdoc opportunities within the ESA Science Directorate.
