Pensare l’innovazione: la lezione dei Nobel dell’Economia 2025

The 2025 Nobel Prize in Economics was awarded to Joel Mokyr, Philippe Aghion, and Peter Howitt "for having explained innovation-driven economic growth".
The work of these three scholars explains how technological innovation and competition, through a continuous process of introducing new products and production methods that replace old ones, have made possible sustained economic growth that has improved living standards, health, and well-being.
Professors Andrea Bonoldi, Edoardo Gaffeo, Sandro Trento, and Enrico Zaninotto from the Department of Economics and Management will develop the topic.
The event is organized by the Department of Economics and Management and the School of Innovation (SOI) and is open to the public free of charge.
The speeches will be held in Italian.
