This workshop offers a practical, interactive space designed for students entering the workforce who are simultaneously balancing their studies, job hunting, early professional experiences, and personal lives.
Through experiential exercises, individual reflection, and group activities, you will be guided to recognize your own balance (and imbalances), understand how to manage time, energy, and expectations more effectively, and develop sustainable strategies to navigate this transition phase without becoming overwhelmed.
Workshop Objectives
- Understand the concept of study-work-life balance and its impact on motivation, performance, and personal well-being
- Recognize signs of imbalance (stress, chronic fatigue, declining motivation, feelings of ineffectiveness) and the associated risks
- Develop greater awareness of how you manage time, energy, and priorities
- Hone time and stress management skills tailored to real-world—rather than ideal—situations
- Create a personal balance plan by identifying concrete, realistic actions to implement in your daily life
Skills Acquired
- Greater awareness of your balance between study, work, and personal life
- Ability to spot early signs of stress, overwhelm, and declining motivation
- Practical skills for managing time, energy, and priorities in complex situations
- Ability to set realistic, sustainable goals adapted to the various stages of university and professional life
- Effective strategies for stress management and burnout prevention
