Abstract
The SURFIT project focuses on scaling Sustainable Food Networks (SFNs) by leveraging strategic ‘catalysers’—actions or processes that help urban food systems achieve ecological, socio-economic, and circular benefits at a systemic level. Working across four mid-sized cities through Urban Food Labs and a living lab approach, SURFIT aims to provide guidance for advancing SFNs and embedding them into sustainable urban transitions.
At the Trento Landmark Event, participants will explore local food initiatives, engage in interdisciplinary discussions, and contribute to shaping sustainable urban transitions across Europe. The event will feature on-site visits, expert panel discussions, and in-depth working sessions to refine strategies for scaling SFNs.
