

Alessandro Pinzani is Full Professor of Ethics and Political Philosophy at the Federal University of Santa Catarina Florianópolis (BR). Pinzani’s fields of interest include modern political philosophy, Kant, Habermas, poverty, social suffering, and critical theory. Among his publications, An den Wurzeln Moderner Demokratie: Bürger und Staat in der Neuzeit (De Gruyter Akademie Verlag, 2009) and Kant and the Problem of Morality: Rethinking the Contemporary World (with Luigi Caranti, Routledge Chapman & Hall, 2022).
