From 3 to 6 April 2025, GrACE – Green Europe: Active Citizenship and the Environment will host an intensive residential course at Villa Madruzzo, offering an ideal setting for immersive learning, collaboration, and practical training. 

This three-day event will bring together selected participants for hands-on training, collaborative lesson planning, and the development of guidelines to strengthen citizenship education with a focus on sustainability. It will equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to effectively integrate sustainability and active citizenship into their teaching. The programme begins on 3 April with a guided visit to MUSE – Science Museum, followed by dinner in the inspiring “Small and Big Void”, surrounded by museum exhibits.

The following days will offer a rich and varied programme (see attached agenda for details), featuring keynote lectures, interactive workshops on practical teaching methodologies, and collaborative sessions to develop innovative lesson plans aligned with the GrACE project's goals. Participants will also have dedicated time to share experiences and best practices.

Designed as part of the GrACE project, this event highlights the importance of integrating environmental awareness into citizenship education while encouraging collaboration among educators and experts.
