Health Economics and Health Technology Assessment Summer School (HECTA)
- studiare
From 23 to 25 June 2026, Trento will host the three-day HECTA Summer School — a joint initiative by the Universities of Trento (DEM), Bolzano-Bozen, and Innsbruck.
Welcoming students from diverse backgrounds—including Economics, Business, Engineering, Biotechnology, Healthcare, and Statistics—the school will equip participants with foundational knowledge in Health Technology Assessment (HTA), along with the analytical and modelling capabilities needed to perform an economic evaluation of implementing a new health technology.
As healthcare costs rise and the EU HTA Regulation (2021/2282) comes into force, the need for professionals trained in HTA has never been greater. The programme will provide essential tools for evidence-based resource allocation, and career development across the healthcare industry, public institutions, and academia. Across three themed days, participants will develop highly sought-after analytical competencies.
The initiative enjoys the financial support of Euregio via the Euregio Mobility Fund.
