Overview
This workshop aims to equip early-career researchers with the tools and knowledge needed for publishing in scholarly journals. Attending this workshop will help you:
- Prepare, write and structure your article;
- Understand current trends in scientific publishing;
- Gain insight into the peer review process;
- Increase your chances of acceptance.
The format of the workshop will be a 30-minute presentation followed by a Round Table with Prof. Gerardo Puopolo, Prof. Eugenio Aprea, Prof. Michele Perazzolli, and Prof. Omar Rota Stabelli. We encourage everybody to ask questions for a lively discussion.
The speaker
Jennifer Wood is Senior Publisher for the Microbiology journals portfolio at Elsevier. She has spent the last 10 years working with authors, editors and reviewers at Elsevier, developing various subject portfolios. Before this, Jennifer worked as an editor of nursing journals at Mark Allen Group and as a Journal Development Manager at BioMed Central.
