Recent developments in vibration suppression

The seminar, will explore recent Developments in Vibration Suppression, offering a comprehensive overview of recent strategies in structural dynamics.
A brief introduction into the academic and research background at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León will be presented, along with an overview of the ongoing work within our research group focused on structural systems.
The seminar will cover fundamental principles and practical applicationsof vibration suppression, with particular emphasis on emerging techniques such as non linear isolation mechanisms, semi-active control strategies, and the integration of smart materials.
Recent advances from our group’s research will be shared to illustrate current and future trends and ideas of vibration mitigation in engineering structures, highlighting opportunities for innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration.
