
Webinar Series fifth Appointment “Peace, Human Rights, Social Sciences and Humanities”

Fifth webinar of the series UNITAFRICA: “Peace, Human Rights, Social Sciences and Humanities: university cooperation between African countries and Italy”. The webinar takes place on Tuesday October the 21st from 14:00 to 16:00 CEST.
The three longer presentations (15 min each) will be:
- Extractivism and impact on health in DRC - Dr.Thulisile Ncamsile Mphambukeli - University of Johannesburg (South Africa)
- The Contemporary Law of Maritime Warfare: Naval Blockade of Gaza and the Flotilla Incident - Dr. Giuseppe Gallo University of Messina (Italy)
- Historical Justices and Present in Realities: Is Reparation a Path to Sustainable Peace and Development for Africa - Prof. Azubike Onuora-Oguno Addis Ababa university (Ethiopia)
Each contribute will be of 15 min with a final Q&A session
After the Q&A session further brief presentations (max 3 min) will be presented.

- 10’ UNITAFRICA communications
- 15’ First presentation
- 15’ Second presentation
- 15’ Third presentation
- 20’ Q&A on presentations
- 30’ Pop Up session (with planned and spontaneous short presentations 3 min)
