2025-2026 CLIMATE EDUCATION WEBINAR SERIES
Content and methods for high school teachers

This webinar series is part of GrACE – Green Europe: Active Citizenship and the Environment, an international teacher training programme led by the University of Trento and funded by the European Union as part of the Jean Monnet initiative. The programme aims to equip educators with a thorough understanding of key environmental challenges and the EU’s strategies for addressing the climate crisis, while also offering innovative approaches to teaching sustainability and environmental issues.
Following the success of the 2024-2025 series – which examined climate change from multiple perspectives, including climate justice, eco-anxiety, the democratic challenges posed by the climate crisis, and effective pedagogical strategies for addressing these themes in the classroom – the new edition features thirteen webinars. Once again, the focus is on both content and methodology. To meet the needs of a broader audience of Italian educators, the first two webinars will be held in Italian.
The five methodological webinars are structured in two parts: a theoretical introduction to the methodology, followed by a practical session in which participants work in breakout rooms to apply the concepts discussed.
Participation in the webinars is free and open to all high school teachers prior registration to the following link: https://eventi.unitn.it/it/2025-2026-climate-education-webinar-series
