Research Integrity workshops 2025

- research
Research Integrity, and more broadly, standards relating to Responsible Research and Innovation, are intrinsically linked to the quality and credibility of research, as well as its impact on society and the academic community.
he growing importance of this connection at national, European, and international level, combined with the many challenges it poses, raises questions that the University of Trento is committed to addressing through interdepartmental training and educational programmes involving experts, as well as the direct and interdisciplinary participation of PhD students, researchers, supervisors, and technical and administrative staff of the University.
- What are Research Integrity and Questionable Research Practices?
- What are the principles established at UniTrento and the European standards? And what are the consequences in the event of a violation?
- How can research be promoted, communicated, and published in an ethical and responsible manner at national, European, and international levels?
- What are the emerging challenges in this area and how can opportunities for discussion and sharing on these issues be created?
- How can a project be developed and submitted to the CER or other relevant ethics committees?
These are among the issues that the Research Ethics and Integrity Office and the University's Strategic Project INTEGRA – Integrity of TrEnto ReseArch seeks to address through interdepartmental training and educational programmes with the direct and interdisciplinary participation of doctoral students, researchers, lecturers and technical and administrative staff working at UniTrento
