Summer school Call for participation
eXcape - XR escape room - soft skills training for the modern learner Location: Sarajevo School of Science and Technology
The Erasmus+ project eXcape – XR Escape Room: Soft Skills Training for the Modern Learner invites applications for an international Summer School that will take place from 7–9 September 2026.
The Summer School will bring together students from Poland, Estonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Italy to participate in an immersive learning experience based on an innovative Virtual Reality escape-room environment developed within the project.
Participants will work in international teams and engage in collaborative activities designed to foster and assess key competencies for academic and professional life, including: teamwork and collaboration; communication skills; leadership and accountability; critical thinking and problem solving; decision making in complex situations.
In addition to experiencing the VR activities, participants will contribute to the evaluation and refinement of the educational tool by providing feedback to the project team.

Available places
The University of Trento will select 5 students to participate in the Summer School. Selected students will receive a grant of €750.
Eligibility
Applications are open to students enrolled at the University of Trento
Applicants should:
• have a good command of English (minimum B2 level);
• be interested in innovative educational technologies and XR applications;
• be willing to collaborate in an international and multidisciplinary environment;
• be motivated to contribute to the evaluation of new approaches to soft-skills training.
What participants will gain
Participants will:
• experience innovative XR-based learning activities;
• collaborate with students from four European countries;
• develop valuable soft skills relevant to their future careers;
• contribute to an Erasmus+ research and innovation project;
• receive a certificate of participation.
